A boutique interior design studio in Kochi with 8 years of experience and an excellent portfolio. Their challenge: almost zero digital presence, with all business coming from word-of-mouth referrals which had plateaued.
Our Initial Audit
When we took on this client, the situation was: website with no rankings (0 organic traffic), Google Business Profile unclaimed, Instagram account with 1,200 followers and inconsistent posting, and zero marketing budget being spent digitally.
The Strategy We Built
We recommended a two-pronged approach: SEO for long-term, compounding lead generation, and Instagram marketing for faster brand building and direct enquiries.
SEO Strategy: Target 45 high-intent keywords including "interior designer Kochi", "home interiors Kerala", and specific area-based keywords. Created 12 new service and location pages, optimised all existing pages, and built a local link building campaign.
Instagram Strategy: Showcased their portfolio through professional photography, before/after reels, and process content. Posted 5x per week consistently with a strong brand aesthetic.
Results After 5 Months
Organic website traffic: 0 to 2,400 monthly visitors. Monthly leads from organic search: 0 to 18. Monthly leads from Instagram: 3 to 14. Total monthly leads: 8 to 32 — a 300% increase. The client is now fully booked 3 months in advance.
